At A Glance
The book highlights 48 different pieces of furniture throughout history. It attempts to analyze and understand how furniture melds with architecture in 12 particular eras. It begins by mapping the evolution of furniture through time, while also elaborating on each era’s style, elements, and construction. Composing the magazine was a group project but designing the cover was individual.

Option 01
The front cover is the composition of iconic chairs of their eras. I deconstructed the twelve chairs and selected their highlighted parts to form a composition that appears as a single chair. This was finalised.
